Sundar Industrial Estate is a premier industrial hub inaugurated in February 2007, spanning approximately 1,750-1,800 acres about 45 km south-west of central Lahore. Managed by the Punjab Industrial Estates Development & Management Company (PIEDMC) under the Government of Punjab, it hosts over 700 operational units. The estate offers state-of-the-art infrastructure, including reliable utilities, secure gated access, and a one-window facilitation system, making it an attractive investment for industrial manufacturers and SMEs.

The Pakistan Sundar Industrial Expo 2026 was held from 11–13 February 2026 at Sundar Industrial Estate, Lahore. At the closing ceremony, Mr. Zaki Aijaz, Regional Chairman/VP of FPCCI, called for urgent infrastructure upgrades—including two-way roads linking Sharif Medical Complex to Mull Chowk and Adda Plot to Ijtema Chowk—as well as immediate establishment of a wastewater treatment plant, labour colony, and hospital within the estate, and abolition of the 4 paisa electricity duty for solar consumers.
Under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the Punjab government provided 720 two-room flats to families of industrial workers—including widows and persons with disabilities—in Sundar Industrial Estate via a digital lottery system. The initiative targets workers from Lahore and Kasur, with future expansions planned in Multan, Nankana Sahib, Jhang, and Phalia.
The estate’s management actively promoted stall bookings for the Pakistan Sundar Industrial Expo 2026, highlighting it as the biggest industrial expo in Pakistan, with limited first-come-first-served stalls. Concurrently, a World Environment Day tree-planting drive was conducted in 2026 under the leadership of the Board of Directors to reinforce environmental stewardship.
